Leah Kaczanowicz and AL Jones founded Gumball Glassworks in 2021 in Seattle, Washington. The two found a shared love of the stained glass medium and learned the craft together during the covid 19 lockdowns. Leah was no stranger to the glass world, both working and teaching as a glassblower. The two developed their skills and began selling online and at small art markets. After leaving Seattle they enjoyed two years living in the art-filled glass hub of Asheville, NC before moving back to Leah’s hometown of Ballston Spa, NY in 2024.
